The back story: Hans is Elsa's oldest brother (Frozen got the story wrong...). Hans was giving his three sons a bath one evening when a story popped into his head. He began to tell his boys the woeful tale of Baldor. That night, he wrote the story down and gave a copy to Elsa to illustrate.
And that is how this children's book came to be.
